Caregiver of the Month and Caregiver of the Year Awards.
CHC launched these awards to recognize individual caregivers for their outstanding service to CHC patients. We’re proud to feature the awardees on our website. Check back each month for a new caregiver profile, or browse the archive to see more members of our exceptional team.

Caregiver of the month October 2016
Jennifer Raquepo

Jennifer Raquepo is a Certified Nurse Assistant and certified Home Health Aide who joined Complete In-Home Care in 2014. She also holds CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and first-aid certification.

A caregiver for more than 16 years, Jennifer loves caregiving — and it shows in the way she treats her patients. Her experience includes work in nursing facilities and in patients’ homes.

“Jennifer is so reliable, I never have to worry if she’ll arrive every morning,” says her client, Ruth Bergo. “That really gives me peace of mind because I need my caregiver every day.”

On her days off, Jennifer sells handbags at various swap meets with her sister. She enjoys being an entrepreneur and making extra money for her family.

Desiree Baker

Desiree Baker is a highly capable Certified Nurse Assistant and certified Home Health Aide with more than 23 years of caregiving experience. Her qualifications also include CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and first-aid certification.

Desiree has worked in all areas of nursing, caring for patients in hospitals and rehabilitation facilities as well as in their homes. She joined Complete In-Home Care in 2012.

“Desiree makes me feel very loved and cared for,” says her client, Eleanor Kane, who appreciates her nurturing spirit.

On her days off, Desiree loves to cook and bake. She enjoys catering for parties, as well as holiday baking for family and friends. She’s also very active in her church.

Indira Lopez

Indira Lopez has more than a decade of nursing and caregiving experience, including work in nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities as well as with individual patients in their homes.

A Certified Nurse Assistant and certified Home Health Aide, Indira enjoys working with older patients and their families. Her kind, soft-spoken manner and solid professional skills inspire confidence in our CHC clients.

“Indira is highly knowledgeable about caring for dementia patients,” says client Carol Vinstein, adding that she saw an immediate change when Indira began caring for her husband Arnie.

CHC co-workers also speak highly of Indira, enjoy working with her and appreciate her team player spirit.

On her days off, Indira enjoys spending time with her daughter, relaxing and recharging for the long hours she works.

Gloria Smith

Gloria Smith is a Certified Nurse Assistant and certified Home Health Aide who has worked as a caregiver for more than 20 years.

Gloria has cared for patients in nursing and rehabilitation facilities, as well as in their homes.

Her broad nursing experience includes Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke, cancer, hospice, and palliative care.

During her six years with Complete In-Home Care, Gloria has been Caregiver of the Month several times, most recently in 2014. All of her patients have had high praise for her.

“Gloria has a great work ethic and is a pleasure to be around,” says her current client, Joyce Berryman.

Gloria cared for Berryman’s husband in 2014 and impressed them both so much that when Mrs. Berryman needed care, they promptly requested her.

In her free time, Gloria enjoys cooking, reading and dancing.

Yvuanne Ciego

Yvuanne Ciego is a Certified Nurse Assistant and certified Home Health Aide who is passionate about the caregiving profession. During her two years as a caregiver, she has done exceptional work with Parkinson’s and dementia patients.

Yvuanne joined Complete In-Home Care (CHC) in January 2016 and has proved to be a great asset to our team. She is extremely diligent and dependable in caring for our CHC patients.

In her free time, Yvuanne loves to read.

Reaina MacDougall

Reaina MacDougall is a Certified Nurse Assistant with experience in all areas of nursing. She is also a certified Home Health Aide and has CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) certification.

A caregiver for nine years, Reaina has worked with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, dementia, stroke and cancer patients. Her diverse experience includes palliative and hospice care.

Reaina joined Complete In-Home Care (CHC) in 2013 and has consistently excelled in her assignments. She is highly regarded by CHC clients and patients, who find her very capable, dependable and caring.

“Reaina is so good with my mom, and she’s very knowledgeable about her work. I never have to worry about leaving mom with her because I know if something happens, Reaina will know what to do,” says CHC client Karen Burch.

When she’s not working, Reaina enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

Patricia Flores

Patricia Flores is a Certified Nurse Assistant and certified Home Health Aide who has worked as a caregiver for five years. Her qualifications also include first-aid certification.

Patricia joined Complete In-Home Care (CHC) in early 2015. She is experienced in working with Parkinson’s, dementia and cancer patients — and passionate about providing high-quality personalized care on every assignment.

Patricia has pleased her CHC patients and impressed their families with her kind, attentive and efficient service.

“We don’t know what we’d do without her,” says Jennifer Ingle, whose mother is in Patricia’s care. “She’s been a true blessing in our lives. She’s extremely attentive and does a superb job.”

Outside work, Patricia enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading and listening to music. She also enjoys karaoke, although she admits she can’t carry a tune.

Ann Godoy Hyde

Ann Godoy Hyde is a Certified Nurse Assistant and certified Home Health Aide with additional training in hospice care. She has worked as a caregiver for six years, including a year and a half with Complete In-Home Care (CHC).

Ann consistently provides exceptional service in caring for her CHC patients. Whether it’s helping with housekeeping chores, taking the initiative with other support, or cheering a patient with her company, she goes beyond her basic duties to provide mindful personalized care. Her efforts have earned our clients’ appreciation and trust.

“Ann is very attentive to my wife, Lavern,” says one of her clients, Rod Hagenbuch. “I don’t have to worry when I leave for the office or go to visit my kids because I know that my wife is getting the best care there is.”

On her days off, Ann focuses on her four-year-old son and enjoying their time together at the park and the beach.

Elizabeth Gillett

Elizabeth “Liz” Gillett is a Certified Nurse Assistant and certified Home Health Aide who has worked as a caregiver for nearly 20 years.

Liz joined Complete In-Home Care (CHC) in 2014. Her broad experience includes working with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, dementia, cancer, stroke, and hospice patients. She is also proficient in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and first aid.

Her combined expertise and caring approach have made Liz a favorite with our clients and their families. She was previously recognized as caregiver of the month in April 2015.

During her career, Liz has worked with many other caregivers and is well-respected in her field. She is an excellent team leader, team player, and source of referrals to other high-quality caregivers for CHC.

Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her children — including visits from her oldest son, who is deployed with the U.S. Navy.

Norma Ramos

Norma Ramos is a Certified Nurse Assistant and certified Home Health Aide who loves people and enjoys taking care of them.

During her 11 years as a caregiver she has worked in the nursing home setting, as well as in private homes, and has cared for patients with dementia, Parkinson’s disease and mental health issues.

Norma joined Complete In-Home Care (CHC) two years ago and has been one of our most dependable and sought-after caregivers. Her commitment and compassion are evident in the way she cares for our clients.

“Norma takes pride in her work and is very professional,” says Dodie Marshall, who speaks enthusiastically about Norma as her caregiver of choice.

In all of her CHC assignments, the clients and their families have held Norma in high esteem. We also receive calls from her prior clients, requesting to engage her as their caregiver.

Norma brings great energy and dedication to her work. On her days off, she enjoys cooking, dancing and spending time with her two grandchildren.
